Today, however, the average American consumes over 2 1/2 pounds of garlic annually. It’s compatible with virtually every savory food and is available in a number of convenient dried forms. Suggested Uses: Substitute 3/4 tsp of minced garlic for each fresh garlic clove required by your recipe. May add directly to food or
rehydrate by soaking in cool water for 30 minutes. Product Notes: A convenient form of dried garlic that can be added directly to liquids or rehydrated. Use in stir-frys, grilled meats and vegetables, saut’s and sauces. Sprinkle garlic flakes on baked potatoes, garlic bread, or pasta dishes. To rehydrate, soak 1 part garlic in 2 parts water for 30 minutes. Use e teaspoon garlic flakes in place of one fresh clove.
